Their dimensions of 1.5" to 2.6" produce notes ranging from A2 to C7 for a balanced 4.3 octave range. To prevent rattling and ensure the purest sound, Adams welded the resonators directly onto the Concert Marimba's bars. This construction removes the need for bolts or screws that can work loose or cause unwanted mechanical sounds over time and heavy use. Adams designed the Concert Marimba's Apex Frame to make transportation, setup and height changes simple for any player. The frame's rugged yet lightweight steel construction can endure frequent loading, unloading and adjustments without issue. Levers on each leg allow for quick height changes from 33.46" to 42.51" to suit a variety of players and performance positions.
