Adams A8 Selected Series Professional Bb Trumpet Satin Lacquer

The A8’s chief attribute is of course its heavy threaded integral mouthpipe, and the accompanying brace plate that spans its main tuning slide. The threaded receiver makes the horn extremely efficient and centered; as though each note you play has a wider target area than an instrument with a conventional mouthpiece receiver. Unlike many other model trumpets that have smaller note centers as you ascend in pitch, this horn preserves the same wide target on each note across the range of the horn. The threading also allows you to switch mouthpieces if need be (Adams recommends you do not switch too often as the threads can be damaged). The a8 is also the only horn in the Custom Series line that features a fully ergonomic valve cluster.
