Commissioned by Prince Nicholaus Esterhazy II in 1807, Beethoven's Mass in C Major was not immediately appreciated as the masterpiece that it is. The choral score presented here has the Latin text, with the choir parts on separate lines over a piano reduction of the orchestral score. The score is 7½ by 10 inches, 64 pages.
