Classically designed Jumbo acoustic delivers full-voiced tone and projection.
The JYM80 Yairi Masterworks Jumbo represents the influence of Kazuo Yairi that is heard and seen in every Alvarez guitar. The JYM80 features the FST2 bracing system, a forward-shifted X-brace design that features hand-scooped scalloping to the main braces and asymmetric scalloping to the two tone bars which optimizes string separation, balance and projection. Constructed with a flamed maple body, Sitka spruce top and an ebony fingerboard, the Masterworks Jumbo provides deep, resonant tone and clean articulation. Additional features include a Direct Coupled Bridge for improved sustain and Gotoh tuners.
