The four stereo amplifier sections in the AMP800 give you the flexibility to create up to two different stereo mixes for monitoring. Each amplifier section has dual 1/4" headphone outputs and individual phones level controls so you can adjust the listening level for each musician. The amplifiers also feature six-digit LED meters for accurate visual monitoring of the output level. With up to eight headphone outputs, you can accommodate more musicians tracking together, whether a full band or an intimate trio.

Craft Custom Mixes With Two Main Inputs

To craft the perfect monitor mixes, the AMP800 provides two balanced 1/4" main inputs with individual level and balance controls. You can connect your mixer, audio interface or other playback source to these inputs and dial in the right blend for each musician. Route the main inputs to any combination of the four amplifiers using the input selectors. This allows you to create two fully independent stereo mixes, giving each performer just what they need in their headphones without distracting bleed from other instruments.

Link Additional Units for More Listening Stations

For larger tracking sessions with more than eight musicians, you can easily add more headphone outputs by linking additional AMP800 units. The rear panel Link Out A jack lets you cascade multiple units, maintaining the two independent mixes. This modular expandability means you can accommodate as many performers as needed, enabling immersive monitoring for all. The AMP800 scales to suit any size recording ensemble from an intimate trio to a 20-piece orchestra.
