Black Swamp Percussion Bentwood Set of 5 Temple Blocks with Mounting Bar Standard

Black Swamp Bentwood Temple Blocks are crafted from solid ash that has been bent into a unique, rounded shape to supply the body of the temple block, with Finnish birch plywood used for the sides. Not only does the solid wood make for better sounding temple blocks, but the shape increases impact strength. The rounded shape also increases the "sweet spot" of the block, and produces a warm, round tone reminiscent of traditional temple blocks...which plastic or square blocks can never duplicate.

A custom solid maple mounting bar places the front edge of each block in line, making them easier to play confidently. Each block is mounted with a clamp which fits over a 3/8" knurled post, creating the freedom to place the blocks in any arrangement. This versatility proves useful in multiple percussion set-ups when only select blocks are needed, or a combination of percussion instruments are required, such as woodblocks or cowbells. The mounting bar can also attach to any existing cymbal stand by means of a universal clamp integrated into the construction of the mounting bar.
