Craft immersive soundscapes with independent stereo delays.
The BOSS SDE-3 dual digital delay pedal puts two classic delay effects at your feet. Designed for guitarists and bassists, the SDE-3 offers independent control over two high-quality digital delays with versatile routing options for mono or stereo rigs.
Dual Digital Delays with Vintage-Inspired Tone
The SDE-3 provides two independent delay lines based on the renowned SDE-3000 digital delay. Each delay features controls for time, feedback, level and depth for crafting delays from subtle echoes to intense, layered sounds. A high-cut filter lets you shape the delay tone. Whether you prefer crisp, articulate delays or warm, analog-style sounds, the SDE-3 has you covered.
Vintage Sound, Modern Versatility
The SDE-3 faithfully reproduces the warm, gritty delay tone of the SDE-3000, a sought-after rack unit from the early days of digital delay. At the same time, it offers modern performance features like full stereo I/O, MIDI control and an expression pedal input for external control of delay time, feedback and level. With the SDE-3, you can achieve vintage 80's ambiance or experimental delay textures with your current rig.
Flexible Routing for Mono or Stereo Setups
The SDE-3 offers flexible input and output routing for integration into mono or stereo rigs. In mono mode, you can run the delays in series or parallel. For stereo operation, choose from parallel, serial, ping pong and cross-feedback modes. A carryover switch lets you run one delay into the other for cascading delay effects. With the SDE-3, you have the connectivity and routing needed for professional delay techniques in any setup.
Road-Ready Design
Like all BOSS pedals, the SDE-3 features a durable, stage-ready design. It runs on a 9V battery or optional power adapter for long-lasting performance. The pedal's metal casing ensures it can withstand the rigors of the road. A bright LED indicator displays the tempo of the selected delay and serves as a battery level check. For players wanting professional, road-tested digital delay in a convenient floor pedal, the BOSS SDE-3 dual digital delay is ideal.
