The Breedlove Discovery S Concert CE acoustic-electric bass of European spruce and African mahogany is designed with earth-conscious, richly resonant EcoTonewood technology that allows bassists to bring the thunder, unplugged or amplified. Its concert body shape is well-balanced, compact and comfortable to play, generating an articulate tonal range with an ample low end, plus a soft cutaway for easy access to every fret. The African mahogany neck has a soft C-shaped profile, whose slimmer design and satin finish enable comfortable play for any hand size. The bolt-on neck and single-action truss rod provide easy adjustment for both the play action and neck angle. The Discovery S Concert CE acoustic-electric also features EcoTonewood back and sides—a process of integrating three layers of sustainably harvested tonewoods to produce an environmentally friendly instrument with vibrant sound.
