A work for 13-part unaccompanied SATB choir, with words by William Blake and music by John Tavener. The Tyger was written for Philip Sherrard for his 65th birthday. It was composed in Katounia, Greece, and at one dramatic point refers back to The Lamb, both in text and in music.
