The new Goodtime Six-R banjo comes hot on the heels of the very popular Goodtime Six openback banjo but features a resonator, making the Goodtime Six-R ready for the big stage.

Tonally, the Goodtime Six-R is elevated by the addition of a maple resonator behind it's 11" 3-ply violin grade maple rim. Like any banjo, the addition of a resonator not only creates a hollow sound chamber, but also provides a flat surface for the sound to bounce off and project forward towards the player’s audience, instead of being absorbed by their body. The result is a significantly fuller, clearer, and more vibrant tone.

The Goodtime Six banjos were not designed to replace the guitar, but rather complement it. It affords guitarists the chance to play what they already know with unimaginably creative results.
