Signature electric of Bill Kelliher of Mastadon, equipped with Mojotone Hellbender pickups.
Bill Kelliher is the respected guitarist for award-winning American metal band Mastodon, and his ESP LTD Signature Series BK-600 is, in a word, spectacular. Based on the single-cutaway ESP Eclipse shape, the latest BK-600 offers traditional full body thickness with no waist cut, and is designed to provide the wide range of tones needed for Mastodon’s music while being sturdy and reliable enough for the most punishing rhythms and brutal riffs throughout long tours. Another update on the BK-600 is the set of Bill’s signature Mojotone Hellbender humbucker pickups. Designed for the duality of brutality and beauty, these nickel-covered pickups offer everything from raw and menacing tones to complex, articulate and open cleans. Both the bridge and neck pickups may be split with push-pull controls on the volume and tone knobs. The BK-600 offers set-thru construction at 24.75” scale for unencumbered access to the highest frets, with a mahogany body, a bound three-piece mahogany neck and a Macassar ebony fingerboard with 22 extra-jumbo frets and pearloid ESP flag inlays. Other professional features on the LTD BK-600 include LTD locking tuners and a TonePros locking bridge and tailpiece. An ESP deluxe hardshell case is included.
