Blistering Alexi Laiho signature designed for comfortable play at high speeds.
Built at the ESP factory in Japan, the ESP E-II Alex Laihoi Ripped electric guitar is among the final guitars designed by Children of Bodom/Bodom After Midnight frontman Alexi Laiho. The E-II Alexi Laiho Ripped is offered in an offset V shape with neck-thru-body construction at 25.5" scale. It features a three-piece thin U maple neck with a natural satin finish for smooth and fast playability, alder body wings and an ebony fingerboard. It includes an EMG HZ F-H2 passive humbucker in the bridge position, a ceramic high-gain pickup that offers excellent presence and clarity with a punchy response, as well as an EMG HZ S2 passive stacked single coil in the neck for just the right mix of mids with a clear and full low end. It also includes an ESP MM-04 active boost switch, a preamp circuit with adjustable EQ settings and up to +18dB of boost when you need it. Designed for pro players, the E-II Alexi Ripped features high-end components such as Gotoh locking tuners, ESP strap locks, a double-locking Floyd Rose Original bridge, a volume control, an inset three-way pickup selector and boost switch.
