Both this model and its more expensive cousin feature a 3-piece maple neck with alder body in a glossy black finish, a 25.5"-scale fingerboard with 24 extra-jumbo frets, Kirk's trademark skull-and-bones inlays, and EMG Bone Breaker humbucker pickups. The KH-602 also features neck-thru-body construction, a Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo system, jet black hardware and 2 volume, tone, and 3-way switching controls.
