Discover an electric guitar with a mesmerizing flamed maple top and seven strings.
The ESP Snapper CTM-7 electric guitar exemplifies the extraordinary skill and artistry of the master luthiers in ESP's custom shop in Tokyo, Japan. Built as part of their exclusive Exhibition Limited Series, this masterfully crafted 7-string guitar boasts rare tonewoods, custom finishes and handmade hardware that make it a truly unique instrument.
Built With Rare, Exotic Tonewoods and Hand-Painted Finishes
The Snapper CTM-7 starts with the gorgeous figuring of a flamed maple top and neck paired with the midrange punch of swamp ash for the body center and back. These are some of the most rare and coveted tonewoods, sourced by ESP's master luthiers to create exceptional resonance and sustain. The stunning Purple Yellow Sunburst finish is specially hand-painted, using experimental techniques to produce mesmerizing depth effects. Mother-of-pearl and abalone dot inlays grace the bound walnut fingerboard for elegance. With its comfortable slim-U neck and 24 medium-jumbo frets, the Snapper CTM-7 plays incredibly fast while still providing warmth and resonance. The TonePros bridge and Gotoh tuners offer rock-solid stability so you can confidently perform rapid riffs and dive bombs.
Seymour Duncan Pickups Pump Out High Output
With custom Seymour Duncan hybrid humbuckers, the Snapper CTM-7 takes your playing to the next level. The neck pickup combines a '59 humbucker for warmth with a hotter JB model for increased output and growl. Similarly, the bridge pickup pairs a powerful JB humbucker with a Custom 5 pickup for massive output and sustain. Whether you want singing leads or aggressive rhythm tones, these hybrid pickups have the versatility to handle it all.
Versatile Pickup Configuration With Coil-Splitting
The Snapper CTM-7 pickup configuration provides incredible tonal versatility. It starts with a Seymour Duncan '59/JB hybrid in the neck position, blending glassy top end with round lows for excellent clarity on chords. The bridge position has a hotter Seymour Duncan JB/Custom hybrid, perfect for aggressive lead tones. Both pickups have been customized for the Snapper CTM-7 for optimal output and EQ. Engage the coil-splitting and you can go from humbucking girth to single coil snap, expanding the tonal palette even further. Between the pickup selector toggle, coil-splitting and master volume and tone controls, you have myriad tone-shaping options at your fingertips.
With a Tremolo Bridge for Expressive Effects
The Snapper CTM-7 features a tremolo bridge that lets you add expressive vibrato effects to your playing. The brass block and stiff springs provide excellent tuning stability even with heavy use of the tremolo arm. Inspired by ESP's high-end models, this Floyd Rose-style bridge lets you add expressive vibrato effects to your playing. Dive bombs, warbling chords and shimmering leads are all possible with the tremolo arm. It's the perfect way to put your personal stamp on solos and melody lines.
As a rare example of ESP's finest luthier craftsmanship, the Snapper CTM-7 electric guitar delivers exceptional tone and playability. Its stunning looks and unique character make it a prize for collectors and players alike.
