The Fender Custom Shop Vintage Custom ’55 Hardtail Strat electric guitar with maple fingerboard recreates the look and feel of a true vintage instrument, packed with rare appointments and meticulous details for a top-of-the-line playing experience. It features a 2-piece select ash body with a lacquer finish and a riftsawn maple neck. The 1-piece maple fingerboard is topped with 21 medium-vintage frets and Micarta black dot inlays. Its sound is driven by a trio of Custom Shop hand-wound ’55 single-coil Strat pickups, with master volume, two individual tone controls and a 5-way pickup switch. Additional appointments to the Vintage Custom ’55 Hardtail Strat include vintage-style tuners, a bone nut, 6-saddle hardtail bridge and chrome/nickel hardware.
