The Fender Custom Shop Vintage Custom ’59 Hardtail Strat electric guitar with rosewood fingerboard recreates the look and feel of a true vintage instrument, packed with rare appointments and meticulous details for a top-of-the-line playing experience. It features a 2-piece select alder body with a lacquer finish and riftsawn maple neck. The flat-lam rosewood fingerboard is topped with 21 medium-vintage frets and vintage clay dot inlays. Its sound is driven by a trio of Custom Shop hand-wound ’59 single-coil Strat pickups, with master volume, two individual tone controls and a 5-way pickup switch. Additional appointments to the Vintage Custom ’59 Hardtail Strat include vintage-style tuners, a bone nut, 6-saddle hardtail bridge and chrome/nickel hardware.
