Fire-breathing British gain in a lightweight and compact head configuration.
The Friedman Pink Taco V2 amp head updates the original model, which was developed as a more compact and simplified version of the high-gain Friedman BE-100. This evolution of the Pink Taco ups the tonal versatility with the addition of a Fat Switch (for meaty textures) and a Sat Switch (for increased saturation) that join the previous edition’s S-Switch (that changes the gain structure). The result is a one-channel amp that retains the fire-breathing aggression of the BE-100, but that can also produce bluesy crunch, classic-rock overdrive and molten modern metal. Even on its highest-gain settings, the Pink Taco V2’s response is so dynamic that you can clean up the sound by simply dialing back your guitar’s volume control. The amp’s front end handles stompboxes such as boosts, distortions and wahs with all the impact you want, while the transparent, series effects loop delivers reverbs, delays and rack processors with clear, pristine sound quality.
