Gibson brings back the classic look of the Les Paul Special.
The 1957 Les Paul Special has been a staple of rock 'n' roll since it first appeared on black and white TV sets. Part of what gave the Les Paul Special its vivid look was rumored to be its “TV Yellow” color, which still popped even in monochrome. Gibson Custom Shop has painstakingly recreated this classic guitar for the modern guitarist to experience, complete with a solid mahogany body and neck, an Indian rosewood fingerboard and roaring P90 pickups. Lightly aged with the Murphy Lab aging process, this 1957 Les Paul Special comes with the vintage feel built-in.
