The historic Firebird V is back in this authentic reissue.
In 1963, Gibson unleashed the Firebird V, a stylish guitar created by automotive designer Ray Dietrich. With its uniquely offset body and reversed headstock, the Firebird V was turning heads from day one. The Gibson Custom Shop proudly presents the detailed replica of this renowned guitar, featuring accurately reconstructed contours, dimensions and build. From the multi-piece mahogany and walnut neck-thru design to the deluxe banjo tuners and hot-stamped 3-ply pickguard, this 1963 Firebird has it all. Equipped with custom-wound Alnico V mini-humbuckers for classic scorching tones, this guitar was also heavily aged with the Murphy Lab aging process for added vintage appeal.
