Bringing together the iconic SG design with the updates contemporary players desire, this left-handed Gibson SG Modern is more than just "the next version" of a classic. With Les Paul-style maple on mahogany construction, it's got plenty of sustain and lively resonance. The 24-fret, compound-radius ebony fingerboard on a set-in asymmetric-profile mahogany neck is smooth and fast, and the Alnico V BurstBucker Pro pickups with coil taps goes from full power to P-90-style single-coil sounds and back with the simplicity of push/pull volume knobs. Locking Grover Rotomatic tuners, self-lubricating GraphTech nut and Nashville-style tune-o-matic bridge keep the tuning stable and intonation exact. This is a guitar that players will pick up and never want to set back down.
