Rosewood and Sitka pairing with 1930s-inspired bracing for rich, classic tone.
First introduced in 2003, the Songwriter combines Gibson’s time-honored bracing patterns of the 1930s, with their original dreadnought shape, providing a supreme tonal quality. Featuring a beautiful rosewood back and sides paired with a Sitka spruce top, the Songwriter Standard acoustic-electric guitar is Gibson’s modern rosewood dreadnought with a superior dynamic range. It also comes with a Custom Line pickguard and L.R. Baggs VTC pickup for solid live performances.
The Songwriter Standard acoustic-electric comes in a hardshell case.
