Short-scale banjo with open back.
Resembling the banjeaurines of old, this short scale (23.5”) version of the Gold Tone AC-12 banjo has 17 frets and is tuned to A (a whole step higher than a standard banjo). The short, scooped neck is built just like its longer sibling and on the same pot assembly as the AC-12. Ideal for travel, the AC-12A is small, lightweight and perfect for a long session of A or D tunes. A gig bag is also included.
