Throwback hollowbbody electric with vintage style and classic tone.
Get classic '50s- and '60s-inspired Gretsch sound and style with the G5420T Electromatic Classic hollowbody electric guitar. It features a laminated maple body with a vintage-inspired design and refined arches, plus trestle block bracing to help reduce unwanted feedback. By increasing rigidity and contact between the top and back of the body, this trestle block design also results in the sound having a faster attack with more focus, snap and sustain. Coupled with FT-5E Filter’Tron pickups, the G5420T Electromatic Classic's voice explodes with huge full-bodied punch, classic chime and enhanced presence. It also features a maple neck with a classic C profile and laurel fingerboard that offers comfortable playability. Additional appointments include oversized bound F-holes, multi-ply body binding, a smaller late-'50s G6120 bound headstock, vintage-style open-back tuning machines, GraphTech NuBone nut, pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays, secured Adjusto-Matic bridge and a Bigsby B60 vibrato tailpiece.
