An affordable vintage-style outboard EQ with a classic analog sound
As a preamp, the HA73EQ Elite has 80dB of gain that makes it a perfect unit to make any type of microphone sound exceptional. By driving the input of the pre, your tracks can sound like they were recorded through an expensive vintage console at a world-class studio.
As an EQ, the HA73EQ Elite is nearly a clone of the original 1073 in both its looks, tone, and behavior. It is a musical-sounding, three-band EQ that has +16dB of high and low-frequency shelving and +18dB of fixed-Q mid-band peaking with selectable frequencies at 360Hz, 700Hz, 1.6kHz, 3.2kHz, 4.8kHz and 7.2kHz.
With its high-quality components, rugged build and quality assembly, the HA73EQ Elite marks the future of affordable vintage gear. Whether you're recording mic, line or DI instruments, you'll enjoy the versatility of the separate input and output gain controls to drive the 73's Carnhill transformers to achieve your desired tone.
