Lightweight dreadnought with all-okoume construction and Ibanez electronics.
The AAD190CE dreadnought from Ibanez was designed to deliver a rich, bright and loud tone with a wide dynamic range. With slightly larger than typical proportions, this reinvented design achieves a superb, powerful sound, and thanks to the extensive consideration given to the ergonomics, it’s extremely comfortable to play. This model is built with an all-okoume top, body, fingerboard and bridge for a woody, warm tone when the guitar is played softly or fingerpicked, and punchy high-mids with clear projection when strummed. An AP11 pickup is small, lightweight and positioned, so it won’t inhibit the natural vibrations of the top wood. The pickup generates a highly responsive sound with minimal feedback and delivers a lively response throughout the entire frequency range. The sound is transparent and reflects the guitar’s natural acoustic tone while preserving presence and mid-range.
