The Ibanez Munky Signature APEX30 is a collaboration between Ibanez and Korn guitarist James “Munky” Shaffer. For nearly 20 years, Munky and Ibanez have been designing signature guitars that constantly challenged the idea of what the 7-string guitar could (and should) be. That legacy continues with the Ibanez APEX30. As a recording and performing artist in the band Korn for nearly 30 years, Munky’s Ibanez signature models have adapted and evolved along with him and Korn's music. The new Ibanez APEX30 personifies that next stage in the evolution.
