An aggressive electric with a slightly extended scale ideal for down-tuning.
The RGDR4427FX 7-string electric guitar from Ibanez is designed to meet the demands of down-tuning. To optimize for the rich, desirable thickness of tone that down-tuning produces, the neck has been extended by one inch to a 26.5" scale. Longer than standard yet not overly long, the neck is still considered a fast neck and ideal for speed soloing. The RGD61ALA RGD is constructed with a Macassar ebony fretboard, a Richlite top and an ash body for comfortable playability and clean resonance. Equipped with DiMarzio Fusion Edge pickups, this sleek 7-string electric produces powerful, distinctive tone with a crisp, cutting high end and a tight, compressed bottom end.
