Metal-ready axe with compound radius ebony fingerboard and EMG humbucking pickups.

The American Series Soloist SL2MG HT electric guitar from Jackson takes high-velocity metal playing to new heights. Born in Southern California, Jackson has spent 40 years at the forefront of shred-ready design. Now, the American Series Soloist SL2MG HT establishes a new standard for premium performance with its thoughtfully engineered construction.

Sustain Notes Endlessly With a Rock-Solid Neck-Through-Body Design

At the heart of the Soloist SL2MG HT is its ultra-stable neck-through-body design. The sustain-enhancing maple neck runs seamlessly through the lightweight alder body, reinforced by two graphite rods to resist bending and warping. This construction allows your notes to ring out with remarkable clarity and resonance. The sleek compound radius ebony fingerboard has a more curved radius by the nut for comfortable chording that flattens out up the neck for faster lead playing without fretting out. With 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets, you'll blaze across the fingerboard with ease.

Shred With Ease Across The Compound Radius Fingerboard

The American Series Soloist SL2MG HT is built to tame the most extreme shredding. Its 12"-16" compound radius ebony fingerboard flattens out as you move up the neck. More curved by the nut, it provides comfort for chording while the flatter profile higher up lets you play lightning fast licks and dive bombs without fretting out. Jumbo stainless steel frets give you room to really dig in on bends and vibratos. The fingerboard's C-shape neck contour feels fast and familiar. Topped with inverse mother of pearl sharkfin inlays, this guitar is dressed to impress.

Crush Your Solos With Custom-Wound EMG 81/85 Pickups

A pair of EMG 81 and 85 humbuckers provide the Soloist SL2MG HT with exceptional crunch and power. The custom-wound pickups deliver a commanding punch, yet retain impressive note definition critical for modern metal. Toggle between the two pickups and combine their unique voicings to sculpt your tone. Retain low-end thump or dial in a tight, articulate sound - the possibilities are endless. Single volume and tone knobs keep control straightforward so you can focus on your performance.

Built for Speed, Built to Last

Everything about the Soloist SL2MG HT is designed for technical, lightspeed playing night after night. The Hipshot hardtail bridge and Gotoh MG-T locking tuners keep you in tune through your most intense performances. Luminlay side dots ensure clear visibility on even the darkest stages. The contoured body with deep cutaway grants easy access to the highest frets. Shred your heart out on the American Series Soloist SL2MG HT.
