JOIA Tubes
International Art & Sound found these unique percussion tubes at the 1998 PASIC conference in Orlando, Florida. They showed them at the NAMM LA 99, and everyone loved them. These are freestanding percussion instruments played with flat rubber covered mallets. Strike the tuned plastic tubes and you get a warm "synth" sound. Hand built by master percussionist Rick Kramer. They come in the standard blue color or a variety of "Professional Finishes". They are tuned in pentatonic, chromatic or diatonic scales for a variety of successful music making.
