Bandola de Colombia 16-string set featuring plain steel and silver-plated round strings.
The La Bella Bandola de Colombia 16-string set features plain steel and silver-plated round strings with ball ends. The Bandola de Colombia (a.k.a Bandola Andina Colombiana) is a pear-shaped and flat-backed lute. As a descendant of the Spanish bandurria, it is played with a plectrum. The Bandola de Colombia's 16 strings produce a unique sound for melodic lines when sustained by using a mandolin tremolo technique.
