Larsen Virtuoso Soloist viola strings have a moderate tension capable of rich, nuanced sound. The set was developed as an extension of the success of the Larsen Original viola A string. Available in a medium gauge, the strings are more focused and allow the instrument to produce a greater volume. The set contains the Larsen Virtuoso Soloist D, G and C string, and the Larsen Original A string, which fit 15" to 16-1/2" instruments. The G, C and D are made of a multi-filament core precision-wound with silver, and come with a ball end. The A has a solid steel core wound with stainless steel, and comes with a ball or loop end.
