Complete and calibrate your monitoring system with Neumann.
Neumann’s Automatic Monitor Alignment MA 1 ensures the best possible sound quality in any room—from home studios to professional control rooms. The specially calibrated measurement microphone analyzes your acoustic environment in a guided process.
When paired with the KH 750 DSP subwoofer, stereo sets of analog KH series monitors can be analyzed by the Automatic Monitor Alignment Software. The KH 750 DSP has enough processing power to align the entire system, including the two analog loudspeakers connected to its outputs. The result is increased clarity, acute bass response and a time-correct, more accurate depiction of reverbs and acoustic spaces.
Neumann MA 1 Monitor Alignment Microphone and Calibration System
The MA 1 Automatic Monitor Alignment is the beginning of a new era in monitoring. Advanced calibration algorithms, jointly developed with the world's leading institute in audio processing, Fraunhofer IIS, ensure optimally adapted amplitude and phase correction for precise and reliable monitoring.
No special audio driver or plug-ins are required—alignment data is stored and processed within the DSP-powered monitors themselves. As a unique benefit, the software not only optimizes the amplitude response, but also optimizes the phase. This provides pinpoint accuracy in terms of tonality and impulse reproduction.
Neumann KH 750 Studio Subwoofer
The compact KH 750 DSP 10” is the ideal choice for smaller rooms and smaller studio monitors, such as the KH 80 DSP. The uniquely adaptable 2.0/0.1 Bass Manager allows the subwoofer to be used in many different system configurations. On the back panel there are analog and digital inputs and outputs, four routing modes and adaptable acoustical controls to allow for seamless system integration. The Neumann.Control software offers a myriad of functions for KH 750 users, giving you accurate low end for tracking, mixing, mastering, broadcasting and postproduction.
The newly designed 10” long-throw driver has a large magnet, linear motor design and a very stiff pressed steel basket. As subwoofers are usually placed on the floor, a robust grille protects the driver from accidental damage. A sealed-design, well-braced cabinet gives you the fastest possible transient response. It includes two balanced XLR ins and outs, while the 192kHz/24-bit digital input can accept AES3 and S/P-DIF signals. The bypassable standby function and switch-off time can be adjusted in Neumann.Control.
