Advanced DSP Enhances Performance
QSC has packed the KW153 with proprietary DSP technologies to maximize its output. DEEP extends the low-frequency response, allowing substantially more bass than typical for an enclosure this size. Intrinsic Correction uses spatially averaged measurements to smooth the frequency and amplitude response across the sound field. Guardrail protection monitors input levels to prevent clipping and distortion before it happens.
Roadworthy Enclosure
The KW153's Baltic birch cabinet is built to withstand the rigors of touring while keeping the amp and transducers well-protected. Ergonomic side handles make loading in and out easy, while the 35mm pole mount socket allows use on a speaker stand or over a subwoofer. For more permanent installations, the KW153 offers M10 suspension points and an angled side for use as a stage wedge.
Flexible Connectivity
On the rear panel, you'll find two XLR/TRS combo jacks that accept mic- or line-level signals, as well as RCA inputs for connecting consumer electronics. Dual XLR outputs provide loop-through connectivity, while a summed XLR out sends the mixed signal from all inputs. Onboard gain controls for each input help you achieve the perfect mix and a remote volume control Euroblock connector allows gain adjustment from a distance for installed setups.
