Rogue started making guitars in the 1990’s. The company was started near the Oregon Rogue Valley with a focus on affordable folk and the aspiring musician. Rogue now produces a full line of value-priced stringed instruments, amplifiers, and keyboards. Rogue acoustic guitars are produced with ash wood tops, and the electric guitars have a one-piece mahogany wood construction. Both feature rosewood fretboards. The most popular Rogue models range from the 7/8 scale Rogue Starter Acoustic Guitar for aspiring young guitarists to the folk lovers’ Rogue Classic Spider Resonator, with a shiny die-cast spider bridge and an aluminum resonator cone.
