The swamp ash body of the Reaper-4 is lightweight yet highly resonant, allowing bass frequencies to bloom with richness and depth. Beautiful poplar burl veneer adds striking figuring while contributing tonal warmth. Together, these tonewoods produce balanced lows that are tight and focused, perfect for both fingerstyle and slap techniques. The body's natural resonance means you can achieve a full, dynamic sound with minimal effort.

Reinforced Maple Neck Enables Flawless Playability

The Reaper-4's maple neck is reinforced for stability using walnut stringers and two carbon fiber rods. This construction prevents warping while providing a sturdy, non-shifting platform for your fretting hand. The thin C-shaped profile offers a comfortable, familiar feel. The smooth ebony fingerboard, 34" scale length and jumbo frets make it easy to play articulate basslines and solo passages with speed and precision.

Schecter USA M-40 Bridge Pickup and P-40 Neck Pickup

The Schecter USA M-40 bridge pickup and P-40 neck pickup are voiced to capture the full tonal spectrum of the Reaper-4. The M-40 bridge pickup delivers tight, focused lows and cutting mids, perfect for aggressive styles. The P-40 neck pickup produces warm lows and singing highs ideal for rounded fingerstyle tone. Blend the pickups to create a balanced tone tailored to your needs. With these versatile, high-output pickups, the Reaper-4 handles any genre with ease.

Shape Your Sound with 18V Darkglass EQ

The Reaper-4 includes an 18V Darkglass Tone Capsule EQ module for tone shaping on the fly. This 3-band EQ provides boost/cut at selectable frequencies to enhance the natural qualities of this bass. Dial in additional lows for rumbling dub, boost the mids for a slap-ready funk tone or add highs for clarity in busy mixes. With the Tone Capsule's wide-ranging tone control, the Reaper-4 adapts to any musical situation.
