In 1954, Silvertone introduced one of the first solidbody guitars which, by 1958, had evolved into the 1303 model. The 1303/U2 Reissue has all the vibe and twang of the original with some significant modern upgrades. A thru-body bridge delivers strong attack and a hefty tone while an improved neck is coupled to the body with a neck joint system designed for enhanced sustain.
