The shells are constructed of 5 mm, 6-ply maple, which offers excellent projection and attack. The low-mass lugs make minimal contact with the shell surface, preserving the drums’ natural resonance. Triple-flanged Steel Mighty Hoops supply brightness and excellent stability in all tuning ranges.
