The TAMA Starphonic Bravura Concert snare drum features a 14” x 6”, 7-ply, 6 mm maple shell for a warm, versatile tone. It employs a 120° gradual bearing edge for a freely resonating bottom head and maximum snare response. It’s also equipped with TAMA's Grooved straight hoops, which is designed to have the tuning stability of a multi-flange hoop with the openness of a single-flange hoop. TAMA's Freedom lugs pair with claw hooks for quick replacement of drum heads without needing to take all the tension rods out. A unique combination of snare strings produces a dynamic, vibrant response. The Multi Snare Frame holds the snare wires straight off the bearing edge for maximum responsiveness.
