The Shell

The Volume Acrylic shell is born from TAMBURO's philosophy of putting the principles of sound first—with research and development focused on how to use acrylic to make the perfect drum shell. The Volume Series shells are created from a unique, patented centrifugal process which makes their unibody construction perfectly seamless; they do not have a glue point. The thickness and the diameter are made to produce an "aphonic" shell with produces an incredibly clear and pure tone. The thin, light and powerful acrylic shell has a thickness of just 3 mm. TAMBURO's unique philosophy regarding a shell’s "bearing edge" which defines their wooden drum sets, is replaced by their philosophy of a "perfect curve" of an acrylic shell that uniquely matches the curve of a drum head.

The "Strong Traction" ST Lug

The innovative and patented design of the TAMBURO ST Lug (Strong Traction Lug) is defined by its technical and structural characteristics, which allows one to tune incredibly high or low, and retain all of the pressure within the lug without applying any pressure to the drum shell, allowing for a free and pure tone. The ST Lug also allows TAMBURO to be able to create any and all customization regarding the depth of the drum, starting from a minimum depth of just 3.5". Made of 2.2 mm of steel. TAMBURO's triple-flange hoops are precise, light and produce muted and well-defined harmonics.

Snare Strainers, Stopper and Wires

TAMBURO's Fused Block Lug allows for the fluid yet precise adjustment of strainer tension. A small magnet is included in the mechanism to ensure stability and grip over time. Enter its small, light and functional die-cast "stopper." Its bridge shape gives minimal contact with the shell while at the same time firmly securing the snare wires. Among the best on the market, 25 steel wires welded on staggered anti-noise plates. Light and precise, it faithfully responds to the settings chosen by the drummer.

The Floor Tom Bracket

Chromed die-cast floor tom Bracket in light alloy with wing nut for a quick, safe setup. The bracket is equipped with an anti-vibration soft rubber gasket. The shape and small size make it easy to position the drum in its case.

The Bass Drum Hoops and Spurs

TAMBURO hoops are made with an internal and external HPL (High Pressure Laminate) lining, which defines its finish and color. 12 layers of Italian beech wood are affixed in the same direction, using a special polyurethane adhesive which offers a blend of cohesive strength and flexibility, which makes it a very strong and durable drum hoop—rigid, yet with a thickness of just 8 mm. TAMBURO's bass drum spurs offer both stability and ease when positioning the bass drum. Strong yet lightweight, they’re attached to the shell via four anchor points. TAMBURO's bass drum leg provides the drummer with a stable, yet easily customizable position.
