The Timber Drum Company extra hard rubber mallets are made with solid birch handles for a natural feel and nice balance. The extra hard rubber head provides a bright resonant tone with a sharper attack than softer rubber. They can be used for Timber Drum slit tongue log drums, wood blocks, xylophones, temple blocks, marimbas (all sold separately) or any instrument where a slightly muted contact sound is desired. These mallets are sold in pairs and are suitable for indoor concerts and outdoor marching.
