Mapex's Quantum Mark II California Cut Single Marching Tenor with Shot Drum is ideal for the marching ensemble for younger players to participate while not quite ready for a full snare, tenor or bass position in the drumline. Players can gain experience while concentrating on developing their marching and playing technique and keeping their interest while they participate in the ensemble.

The California Cut offers a mid-depth shell design made from thinner 6.5mm maple/walnut-ply shell for less weight and birch reinforcing ring for added strength. The shell also incorporates the SONIClear bearing edge for a warm, full resonant tone and Sonic Saver hoops with an inner flange to add more focus to the sound. Ideal for both outdoor and indoor marching applications, this single tenor comes in a 14-inch size with a 6-inch shot drum and gives you the option to easily add an additional shot drum on the left or right side of the drum using the FFLB (Free-Floating Lug Bridge) mounting system. The Mapex Quantum Mark II comes standard with Gloss Chrome hardware.
